Terms of sale

The agreement for every order.

These terms cover the site, the parts, and the sale. Placing an order means you accept them.

Effective October 28, 2026. Bimprint, Chicago, Illinois. hello@bimprint.com

1. The agreement

These Terms of Sale are a contract between you and Bimprint (“Bimprint,” “we,” “us”). They apply to bimprint.com, to quotes, and to every part we sell. If you order for a company, you confirm you can bind that company, and “you” means both of you.

By using the site or paying for a part, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, and the warranty. If you do not agree, do not order.

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The version in effect when you pay applies to that order. The posted version applies to later use of the site.

2. What the parts are

Bimprint designs and 3D prints aftermarket parts, mainly ducts, scoops, and related pieces for BMW cars, plus small branded goods. Catalog parts are printed in ASA on a Bambu Lab P2S in Chicago, Illinois. ASA holds shape in a typical engine bay up to about 100°C. It is not a metal part, and it is not for exhaust gas, turbo housings, or any surface that runs hotter than that.

These are aftermarket parts. They are not original BMW equipment. They are not certified by BMW, the NHTSA, or any racing body. They are not a safety device, and they are not a substitute for a brake, a structural part, or a part the car needs to stay legal and safe. A brake duct moves air. It does not replace a rotor, a pad, or a line.

BMW, the roundel, and the chassis and engine codes on this site are trademarks of their owners. We use them only to say which car a part is modeled for. Bimprint is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by BMW.

Photos are of the parts we print. A car in a photo is there to show the piece, not to promise a result on your car. Horsepower, temperature, or acceleration figures on a product page describe a stated test on a stated car, usually on the stock tune. They are not a promise that your car will make the same number.

3. Orders

A product page is an invitation to order, not a promise that we have already accepted. We accept an order when we send a confirmation after fitment is checked, or when we ship, whichever comes first. We may decline or cancel an order if the car does not match the part, if the payment does not clear, if we made a pricing or description error, or if we cannot print it. If we cancel after you have paid, we refund the amount we received for that order.

You must give an accurate chassis, year, engine, and, where the page asks, side and any change from stock (bumper, intake, brake kit, or similar). A part printed to a description you confirmed is made correctly even if that description was wrong. That is not a defect.

Custom work is quoted before it is printed. A quote is not a charge. We print a custom part only after you approve the model and pay. A change after that approval is a new job. We do not start a second model for free.

Catalog lead time is 5 to 12 business days after confirmation. Custom work is typically two to four weeks after the model is approved. Dates are estimates. We are not liable for a delay caused by a carrier, a material shortage, or a fitment question you have not answered.

4. Price and payment

Prices are in US dollars and are the amount shown at checkout, plus shipping and any tax Shopify calculates. We may correct an obvious pricing error before we accept the order.

Payment is taken by Shopify, including Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and cards Shopify accepts. You pay Shopify’s checkout under Shopify’s terms as well as these. We do not receive your full card number. Title to a part passes to you when we receive payment in full. If a payment is reversed or charged back without a good-faith dispute we have a chance to answer, you still owe the price of any part we already printed or shipped.

5. Shipping, risk, and inspection

We ship from Chicago to United States addresses as a normal order. International shipping is only if we agree in writing before you pay. Duties, taxes, and import rules outside the United States are yours.

Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier marks the package delivered to the address you gave. Inspect the carton before you cut the tape if it looks crushed. Photograph the carton and the part and email us the same day. We will reprint or replace a part that arrived broken in transit. Concealment of damage, or use of a broken part, ends that remedy.

6. Made to order, and returns

Parts are printed for the order. They are not stocked for a change of mind. We do not accept a return because you chose a different bumper, a different intake, or a different car after the printer started.

If a catalog part does not match the fitment we confirmed, or it has a manufacturing defect covered by the warranty, email hello@bimprint.com with the order, photos, and the chassis. We will repair, reprint, or refund the price of that part, at our option. That is the remedy for a part that is wrong. You ship a return only after we send a return address. Unapproved returns can be refused.

7. Installation and your assumption of risk

You are solely responsible for installation, torque, clamps, hoses, and for confirming the part clears the bumper, the liner, the lights, moving suspension, and heat sources before you drive. If you are not able to do that, have a qualified technician do it. An install note on a product page is help. It is not a complete shop manual, and it is not a promise that every option pack on that chassis is identical.

You assume all risk from installing or using a part, including the risk that a duct cracks, comes loose, melts, leaks air, rubs, or fails to flow as you expected, and the risk of engine damage, brake-temperature change, loss of control, a crash, injury, or death. Do not drive the car if the part does not sit flat, does not clamp, rubs, or smells of melting plastic.

Track use, timed runs, and any use beyond ordinary street driving are entirely at your risk. A part that is acceptable on the street can still fail under sustained heat or impact.

An aftermarket intake or duct can change how the engine breathes. It can also be a reason a dealer denies a repair if the dealer decides the part caused the failure. Federal law limits how a manufacturer may condition a warranty on the use of a branded part, but it does not require anyone to pay for damage a modification caused. You accept that risk when you install the part.

You are responsible for complying with emissions, noise, inspection, and racing rules where you drive. We do not warrant that a part is legal for every use in every state.

8. Warranty

Catalog parts are covered for twelve months from delivery against manufacturing defects in the print: a flange that does not match the fitment we confirmed, a crack that came from the print, or a port in the wrong place. The details, and what is not covered, are on the warranty page. That page is part of these terms.

We do not cover impact, a crash, a curb, engine or drivetrain failure, a tune, heat above the material limit, track abuse, a missing clamp, or a car that was not the chassis you described. Keychains and coasters are covered only against a print that arrives broken.

EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTY ABOVE, AND EXCEPT FOR ANY WARRANTY THAT THE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW US TO EXCLUDE, THE PARTS AND THE SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT A PART WILL MAKE A STATED HORSEPOWER NUMBER, LOWER A STATED TEMPERATURE, OR FIT EVERY CAR OF A CHASSIS CODE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THESE DISCLAIMERS, SO THEY APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIMPRINT AND ITS OWNERS, CONTRACTORS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST USE, LOST TIME, TOWING, STORAGE, A DIMINISHED VEHICLE VALUE, OR DAMAGE TO AN ENGINE, DRIVETRAIN, BODY, WHEEL, BRAKE, OR OTHER PART OF THE CAR, ARISING OUT OF THE PARTS, THE SITE, OR THESE TERMS. THIS APPLIES WHETHER THE CLAIM IS CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THE DAMAGE WAS POSSIBLE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM YOUR INSTALLATION, YOUR FAILURE TO INSPECT OR SECURE A PART, A CAR THAT DOES NOT MATCH THE FITMENT YOU GAVE US, TRACK USE, OR ANY USE WE DID NOT AUTHORIZE IN WRITING.

IF WE ARE LIABLE DESPITE THE REST OF THIS SECTION, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM ABOUT A PART IS LIMITED TO THE PRICE YOU PAID US FOR THAT PART. THIS CAP IS A BASIC PART OF THE BARGAIN. THE PRICE OF THE PART REFLECTS IT.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW A LIMIT ON CERTAIN DAMAGES, INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY FROM A DEFECTIVE CONSUMER PRODUCT, OR A LIMIT ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES. IN THOSE PLACES, THE LIMITS IN THIS SECTION APPLY ONLY AS FAR AS THE LAW ALLOWS, AND ANY RIGHT THE LAW GIVES YOU REMAINS. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS TAKES AWAY A RIGHT THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED.

10. Your indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bimprint and its owners and contractors from any claim, loss, damage, fine, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) brought by you or by anyone else, arising out of your installation or use of a part, a wrong or incomplete description of the car, a modification you made, a resale of the part, or your breach of these terms. We may control the defense of a claim that is solely about an alleged defect in a part we printed, and this indemnity does not apply to our own proven manufacturing defect to the extent the law does not allow that shift.

11. The site

The site, the models, the photos, the name Bimprint, and the logo are ours or are used with permission. You may not copy the models, the print files, or the product photos for your own production or for sale. A purchase is a purchase of the physical part, not of the design file.

Do not misuse the site: no scraping of the catalog for a competing shop, no attempt to break checkout, and no upload of unlawful material through the contact form. We may suspend access if you do.

12. Disputes

Email hello@bimprint.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve a dispute before you file a claim. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The federal and state courts located in Cook County, Illinois are the exclusive venue, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there, except that we may sue in your home jurisdiction to collect an unpaid amount.

To the extent the law allows, you and Bimprint waive any right to a class, collective, or representative action. A claim must be brought in your individual capacity. If a waiver of class actions is not enforceable for a particular claim, that claim must proceed in court and the rest of this section still applies.

A claim about a part must be filed within one year after the claim accrued, unless a shorter or longer period is required by law that cannot be modified.

13. General

If a court holds one part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. A failure to enforce a term once is not a waiver. You may not assign an order without our written consent. We may assign these terms if the business is sold. These terms, the warranty page, and the order confirmation are the entire agreement about that order. They replace any earlier statement on a message, a comment, or a video.
