Will it fit my car?

Match the chassis on the part. The fog duct is E36. The M3 duct and the M3 kit are E90, E92, and E93 M3 only. We confirm before the printer starts.

Do I need a tune?

No. These are ducts and a scoop. They do not change the map, and we do not sell one.

Question 3

Will it throw a code?

Accepted Answer

Not from the part itself. A code usually means the MAF or temperature sensor was left unplugged, or a clamp is leaking at the compressor. Seat the plug, listen for a hiss, and the light should stay off.

What is in the box?

The printed part and the install sheet. Brake ducts are sold each, so a pair is two.

How long is the install?

Accepted Answer

It is on the part. The E36 fog duct is about an hour with the bumper off. One M3 duct is about an hour a side. The kit is both sides.

Question 6

Left-hand or right-hand drive?

Ducts and brake ducts are side-specific. Say which you have. We will not guess, and a left-hand print does not flip.

Question 7

How hot can it get?

Accepted Answer

ASA holds its shape up to about 100°C. That is the air under the hood and the air these ducts and inlets move: the bumper opening, the airbox mouth, the run into the compressor. A thin wall sheds heat instead of storing it the way a thick factory box does.

Will it be louder?

No. A brake duct, a fog duct, and an air scoop do not change the sound.

How long until it ships?

Catalog parts ship in 5–12 business days after we confirm the car. A part that is not in the catalog takes longer, because you approve the model before we print.

What if it does not fit?

Accepted Answer

If it does not match the chassis we confirmed, we reprint or return the payment. A commission you approved in CAD is made to that model. Changing your mind after approval is a new job.

Question 11

My car is not in the catalog.

Accepted Answer

Request it. Send the chassis, the engine, and photos with a ruler in the frame, or the stock piece if you can ship it.

Where do you ship?

Accepted Answer

The United States, from Chicago. Outside the US, write us before you pay. The rate depends on the part, and a manifold is not the same box as a duct.
