Why printed

Tooling is the wrong answer for one chassis.

Geometry first

A duct is a shape problem. We model the path, then print it. Tooling is the wrong answer for a part that changes with the chassis.

One plastic

Every catalog part is ASA. UV-stable, the same finish on a duct and a plenum, printed on a Bambu Lab P2S. We do not switch materials part to part.

It should look installed

Matte black, clean flanges, hardware that matches. If it looks like a prototype in the bay, it isn’t finished.

On the plate

Five steps. No mold.

  1. 01

    Reference

Chassis, engine, and the part you are replacing. A photo of the bay is enough to start. A shipped OEM piece is better.

  2. 02

    Model

CAD to the mounts you already have. Internal sections a mold will not pay for — bells, merges, equal runners.

  3. 03

    Print

ASA on a Bambu Lab P2S, in Chicago. One shell, no mold, no second plastic.

  4. 04

    Finish

Supports come off. The flange is checked on the fixture. Then it packs.

  5. 05

    Ship

Hardware, a one-page install sheet, and a carton cut for the part. Catalog pieces leave in 5–12 business days.
